New partnership and new RISE project

It corresponds to the 1st priority of the Danube Region Programme: A more competitive and smarter Danube Region.

About the project:
The project focuses on addressing the critical need to stimulate economic activity and create employment opportunities in regions that face challenges in maintaining critical economic infrastructure. Our mission is clear: to improve entrepreneurial competences and skills in remote areas through the potential for innovation in the food processing industry and responses to current global challenges.
The overall objective of the RISE project is to improve entrepreneurial skills and capabilities in the participating regions through innovation in the food and beverage sector, with the aim of streamlining the international exchange of knowledge, which will be brought together in one place, in a TRANSNATIONAL MENTORING PROGRAMME to enhance skills and capabilities:
(1) regional mentors in partner regions; and
(2) food and beverage SMEs
in cross-sectoral themes focusing on digital, energy-efficient and sustainable circular technology improvements in the food and beverage sector.
RPIC RV figures as a partner of the project, in particular we have the task to prepare an analysis on the available business support in our region, an analysis of the needs of SMEs in the food and beverage sector in Rožňava, we will collaborate on the preparation of best practices and testing of the prepared tools with SMEs in Rožňava and the surrounding area. We are coordinating activity 2.2, which concerns the preparation and implementation of a promotional campaign in all the regions involved. We will be organizers but also participants of several training events for future mentors. There is a lot of learning ahead of us that will enrich us with new skills and abilities in the field of promoting entrepreneurship in our region, for which we are extremely happy and our whole team is looking forward to new challenges and international cooperation.
